Sad day for cinema – much love for Philip Seymour Hoffman

Today we lost a great actor. Kristen here. Philip Semour Hoffman was always on my love- hate list of actors. His performances often times challenged me and sometimes annoyed me. I thought he was incredible as a villain in Mission Impossible 3. I loved him in Synedoche, New York. And I think now is the time to sit down with The Master. I have been avoiding it and no longer can. Philip Seymour Hoffman brought so much to his roles. And though I will never like his performance in Twister, he was always a master in everything he did. He seemed to take acting so seriously yet had such great fun in movies like Boogie Nights. Losing him is a great great loss to cinema. I’ve talked about him often and founded many ideas based off his performances. This was not the news I ever wanted to hear. And…
